I met Kyle in person a few years ago at a real estate club meeting.  We pretty much immediately connected, as we had common science backgrounds/careers and both wanted to use real estate as a means to get out of our jobs.  We met again on several occasions to strategize and over the years, Kyle and I have ended up doing many deals together.  I have done private lending to Kyle for some of his real estate purchases and have purchased properties from him.
